Wekinator not working on Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion)

I am running Mac OS X 10.7.5 on a MacBook Air. I installed Wekinator using the pkg install. After I click "Edit ChucK configuration" and specify the correct chuck executable in the "System" tab as well as choose a ChucK synth class (e.g., fm_synthesis.ck), I get an error saying:

Wekinator project directory does not exist or is not a directory

Can you please help me with this?
