Does Weka run on Windows 8.1?

Hi,

I installed Weka X86 on Windows 10, It worked for 2 days, and later, I wasn't able to run Decision trees. Then I installed Win 8.1 on my system, and tried to install weka-3-6-12jre-x64.exe; 53.0 MB with Java on it. The application did not even start. I read some where that Weka 7 would run on Windows 7. Hoping it would work on Windows 8.1, I installed it on my system, and it does not start much like the previous version I installed, the (weka-3-6-12jre-x64.exe; 53.0 MB). Could someone help me with this issue please? Thank you in advance!

Finally Weka started working, but now, I have a new problem. When I am trying to work with Visualizer, I am not able to use the rectangle or other marking tools to submit to the tree classifier. I hope I am making sense here. It somehow doesn't work, and when I try to exit the program, it doesn't allow me to. I am new to Weka, and it sure is troublesome. Need help! Thank you!
