Here is the Namo Tassa verse that I have copied from the "Nidana
Samyutta" book published by the Department for the Promotion and
Propagation of the Sasana, Yangon, Myanmar. (1992).Collection of Groups
of Related Discourses. (Nidanavagga Samyutta).
Nidana Samyutta means
========================
"Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammasambuddhassa"
Veneration to the Exalted One, the Homage-Worthy, the Perfectly
Self-Enlightened
[ The Buddha is an Arahat and he is worthy of the highest veneration.
All beings including devas and brahmas venerate the Buddha because the
Buddha is the Supreme One, who has extinguished all defilements, who
has become perfectly self-enlightened through the realization of the
Four Ariya Truths, and who is endowed with the six great qualities of
glory, namely, Issariya (sumpremacy), Dhamma (Knowledge of the Path to
Nibbana), Yasa (fame and following), Siri (noble splendour of
appearance), Kama (power of accomplishment) and Payatta (diligent
mindfulness). ]
========================
You should recite this every day when you do your prayers either in the
morning or in the evening. If you do not have time, you can recite it
on the bus or subway.
Good luck.
