to Weizmann Foundations of Cryptography 2011
As I said in today's meeting, this was the last meeting for the
current semester. In the spring semester, we will be using volume 2 of
"foundations of crypto";
this time I have enough copies for all. Also, you can hold to your
copy of vol. 1 till the end of the year.
One issue that arose in the meeting is the notion of "oracle
seperations" and its relation to "seperations wrt black-box
reduction". Those interested in the subject are directed to the
following excellent analysis:
Omer Reingold, Luca Trevisan, Salil P. Vadhan:
Notions of Reducibility between Cryptographic Primitives.
TCC 2004:1-20.
