You will find your class on your homepage. Click on the class name and you will see the assignments for that class. If you need to enroll in another Turnitin classes, you will need the class ID and class enrollment key for each class from your instructor, and repeat the steps above.
If the classinformation you entered is correct, the class will appear on yourhomepage. If the class ID and enrollment password are not accepted,please make sure you are entering the password exactly as it appears(all Turnitin passwords are case sensitive).
Turnitin is primarily designed for use within educational institutions, and access is typically granted through class enrollment. It is commonly integrated into learning management systems (LMS) or online platforms used by educational institutions.
Individual students usually do not have direct access to Turnitin outside of their enrolled classes. The use of Turnitin is typically managed by instructors or administrators who set up assignments and evaluate submissions within the context of specific courses.
For conducting a quick review of your paper on Turnitin and having your paper in an electronic format, the Quickly Submit tool is great. The quick submission feature can be enabled by taking the subsequent actions:

Warning: Each student profile must be assigned a unique e-mail address in the Turnitin system. Students who have previously created a Turnitin profile will need to log in with the e-mail address and password that was originally set for the user profile. Creating duplicate accounts with duplicate class enrollments can cause issues. To fix these issues your instructor, possibly the school administrator, and the Turnitin Help Desk will need to be involved. To add new Turnitin classes to an existing account, please use the "Enroll in a Class" tab after logging in.
Helpful Definitions:
Class ID # - This is a unique identification number for your class. Your instructor will give you this number. You need this number to enroll in the class. If you do not have a Class ID# or have forgotten it, you must contact the instructor. Turnitin does not provide this information.
If your class is not on Blackboard, your Instructor will give you a class ID number (8 digits) and an enrollment key (password) - usually as single word that is case sensitive. Take these items, go to www.turnitni.com and choose Create Account, then choose Student Account and fill out the registration form. The form will ask you for the class ID # and password in order for you to join. Next, you will have a student home page and see your class listed there.
If your class is using Blackboard, simply locate the Turnitin Assignment in your online class and use the View/Complete button to upload a paper or to view Turnitin reports if your instructor is allowing you to view them after they have been processed by Turnitin:

If you are new to Turnitin and have not been added to an account by your instructor, you must create a student profile. To create your own student account, your class ID and class enrollment key are required.
Only a single file may be submitted to a Turnitin assignment. Any second or subsequent submission will overwrite the original submission in this assignment. Contact your instructor if there is more than one file that must be submitted to complete the directions given by your instructor; additional assignments may be created or you may need to combine multiple documents into a single file of an acceptable file type to be uploaded into Turnitin.
Turnitin compares papers against an ever expanding database of Internet pages, archived pages that might not be available any more, a subscription repository of periodicals, journals, publications, and a repository of previously submitted papers.
If the similarity score does not appear under the similarity column, your instructor may have prevented access to the similarity report by students. If you have been restricted from viewing the Similarity Report, we will show a paper icon with a line cut through it.
Similarity Reports provide a summary of matching or highly similar text found in a submitted paper. When a Similarity Report is available for viewing, a similarity score percentage will be made available. Similarity Reports that have not yet finished generating are represented by a grayed out icon in the Similarity column. Reports that are not available may not have generated yet, or assignment settings may be delaying the generation of the report.
The color of the report icon indicates the similarity score of the paper based on the amount of matching or similar text that was uncovered. The percentage range is 0% to 100%. The possible similarity ranges are:
In the All Sources side panel, all of the sources that have been found are displayed and sorted by highest percentage to lowest percentage match. Clicking on any source will change the navigation bar at the top of the page, displaying how many times that this source has matched in the paper. Clicking the arrows will allow you to see where these have matched on the page. You can further refine this navigation by clicking on an individual page within a source; this will simply show you matches from that specific sub-source.
Turnitin is an internet-based plagiarism detection service that identifies similarities with existing sources from repositories, publications, and current & archived internet. It can be used in formative assessment to help users to avoid plagiarism and improve writing.
Follow the guidelines to check your paper with the ULAB Turnitin service. We encourage every student to check their paper from their own Turnitin account. Please submit your paper to the assignment in the turnitin class created by your course teacher.
i. For personal use, you can check from google docs> extension> Turnitin draft coach. A Turnitin account is not required to check the similarity of your paper through Google Docs.
ii. In order to use ULAB Turnitin, you need to be enrolled in a course that requires a plagiarism check. Ask your supervisor/course teacher for the Class Enrollment Key and Class ID.
iii. If your paper is written for publications i. e. article, book chapter, etc., you can check from the library as a part of research support.
ULAB subscribed to Turnitin students' licenses for research students. If you are doing your thesis, internship, project, or enrolled in a course that requires a plagiarism check then get a Turnitin account without any charges. See the user guide for opening your account-
Classes are your foundation in Turnitin. Most activity between you and your students occurs within classes you create. Creating a class allows you to work with a specific group of students and easily organize their submissions by assignment. You can access your classes and assignments between the date of the class creation and the selected expiration date. We recommend including a buffer for grade changes and late assignment submissions. This tutorial will show you how to check your own document for plagiarism without students. This effectively allows you to switch between instructor and student accounts. This will be shown later after creating the class and the assignment.
The class will now appear in your class list on the instructor homepage. The number to the left of your class name is the class ID. Students will use this ID, along with the class enrollment key, to enroll in your class. Instructors can view class enrollment key at any time by clicking the gear-shaped edit icon to the right of your class.
NOTE: ALWAYS SELECT NO REPOSITORY in the Submit papers to allow submission of the same document many times after correction made on similarity check, after click on submit to complete assignment creation.
If Allow any file type is selected, instructors can leave feedback on and download submitted files, but Turnitin may not be able to generate similarity reports or display the uploaded file within the Turnitin Viewer.
Students will be able to submit their papers to the assignment starting on the start date and until the due date passes.
Select the Submit button to add the assignment to your class homepage and the page will appear like below
By clicking on the button for students as shown above with the red arrow, to allow an instructor enroll a student.
Instructors can add or allow students enroll them selves by sharing the class ID and enrolment key to the students

By clicking a submit button a student is already enrolled into the class and they can go on to add in their documents for similarity check.
