Dima,, I live in Odesa and can give you first-hand information. Most people in Ukraine are still waiting for the Russians. We just want them to come through this town and take it. I sincerely believe that there will be very little resistance. On the streets, you can hear people still talking about the struggle for Ukraine's survival, but mostly it's just a cry forced by the fact that we're under martial law, and anything outside of the official narrative can lead to arrest. We keep our mouths shut and wait for the piano lid to close.

@michalzajic2555 Who do you think's been firing all the long-range missile attacks deep into Russia? If nato can't stand off and use its drones and missiles to attack. It doesn't stand a chance.

@lepetitroquet9410

Well, let's see: - NATO was forced into this conflict by Russia who not only started the war in 2014 (despite the intention of the new government of remaining neutral) but made clear that the "special military operation" was about starting a proxy war with NATO as Putin's 2021 ultimatum to NATO (barely mentionned Ukraine, didn't mention the Donbas or its inhabitants) made extremely clear beyond any doubt. - as a reminder, Ukraine is not part of NATO. No NATO battalion, division or army has been engaged in this war. - So far, NATO's losses, even if we wanted to be extremely generous, would be in the three digits at the absolute most. And probably closer to two or even one digit given how few specialists are involved very far from any frontline. Russia's losses (dead and wounded) on the other hand are between 500k to 1,000k (hard to get an accurate reliable number). => 100 losses vs up to a million -> Russia is getting wiped on the floor there ;p. - So far, NATO has lost 1 drone due to russian actions. That's all. If we want to be extremely generous and accounting for modern equipment given to Ukraine, then close to 100 "NATO" tanks have been lost. Russia has lost most than 3000 tanks so far. => 0 to 100 vs 3000+ -> Russia is getting absolutely crushed there. - Russia has lost a tiny portion of its territory and is proving unable to take it back so far. NATO hasn't lost a square inch of territory so far. => Here again, it's clear how much NATO is dominating Russia. - Russia is spending from 6% up to 12% of its GDP into this war (hard to get an exact reliable number). NATO members on average dedicate not even 1% of their own GDP. => less than 1% vs 6 to 12% -> it's clear this war is costing Russia way more, or to say it in another way, NATO is "waging" this war that was forced onto them on the cheap. You're right that Putin started a proxy war against NATO, but once you compare NATO to Russia, NATO is overwhelmingly winning in absolutely every respect but in the denial of reality you guys have made as your safe space ;p. -> point is, don't start a proxy war against NATO. China might be able to, but it proved to be way beyond the means of Russia.

Imagine you're in a labyrinth that seems to have no exit. Every external door leads to more problems, every path ends with a wall. This is often how we feel when the external world overwhelms us. But there's a secret that yogis discovered thousands of years ago - in a maze with no exit, there exists a hidden passage: inward. Pratyahara is this hidden path. It's like discovering that instead of fighting the labyrinth, you can learn to levitate above its walls. You don't need to physically escape - you can remain exactly where you are while being somewhere else entirely. Here's how it works: 1. Just as waves on a stormy sea gradually quiet down when the wind stops, your mind can become still when you cease reacting to external stimuli 2. You don't have to fight the world - you just need to stop giving it your energy and attention 3. It's like turning down a radio - the sounds of the world still exist, but you consciously decrease their volume 4. As you practice, you'll discover that your inner space is far more vast than the external world Pratyahara isn't an escape from reality - it's the discovery of a deeper reality. It's like finding an ocean of peace beneath the turbulent surface. The external world may rage, but you have access to a place where silence always reigns. This practice begins with simple steps: - Find a quiet place - Close your eyes - Direct your attention inward - Observe how your senses naturally quiet down It's like slowly closing the windows in your house during a storm - you still know the storm is there, but its impact on you gradually diminishes.
