forcing oneself to lose weight

Weight loss surgery is of course a way to force oneself to lose
weight. I'm working on a non-surgical way, but that works on a sort of
similar principle. It's called Beeminder and I'm seeking guinea pigs
for it. If you're a candidate for WLS but aren't quite ready to resort
to that, please get in touch! You should probably also be on the geeky
side for this to appeal to you. :)
