Hey all,

As you likely know (from me telling you) I organize and run Granite Game Summit, a 3-day open board gaming event in Nashua. I am excited to share that the G2S team and myself have started a second event that will be in late September called ReUnity Games!

ReUnity is actually the return of Unity Games, a 20-year running event in the greater Boston area that sadly ended 5 years ago (but we’re bringing it back so Yay!). We are working with Craig Massey, one of the original organizers to capture the love and the feel of the original event.

We will also be holding a charity auction in memory of Adam Smiles, who lost his battle with cancer his spring. Adam and Craig were two of the Unity Games team, and his passing is a great loss to the New England board gaming community, as well as on Board Game Geek where he was staff.

Some details to know about ReUnity Games:

  • ReUnity Games takes place Saturday, September 28th from 9am-midnight
  • It will be at the Doubletree in Danvers, MA (where the last Unity Games was held)
  • Cost is $20 per person, and tickets are available for purchase online now (see link below)
  • There will be a learn-to-play area with games new and old, including a number of this years Gen Con hotness
  • We are selling shirts for $20, half the proceeds will be donated to charity in Adam Smiles name
  • There will be a charity auction the day of, money raised will be donated to charity in Adam Smiles name
  • There is a no-ship board game auction happening now via BGG
  • There is also a math trade

Tickets can be purchased via eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/reunity-games-tickets-64182884736?aff=MRT

more information about the event) can be found at our website at http://www.ReunityGames.com

If you have any questions, I am happy to answer.

This sounds awesome. We have a conflict but we’re very interested for future events.

Ticket Purchased. I’m in. I have great memories of Unity. Glad to see rise from the ashes.
