Of possible interest:

I wrote a detailed end-to-end guide based on my experiences setting up a weather station with the following specs:

  • Ambient Weather WS-2902A

  • NooElec NESDR Smart v4 SDR
  • BMP180 sensor board
  • Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Raspbian Buster
  • WeeWX
  • RTL-SDR
  • RTL_433

  • WeeWX SDR Adapter (modified)

  • Adafruit_Python_BMP Library

  • WeeWX Extra Sensors Adapter (modified)

Thanks for the great writeup.  I'm currently using GW-1000s for my stations, but my next project will be solar powered  Your method uses a great deal less power and will come in very handy.
