Mariadb 12.0 no longer support the storage_engine variable

Hi All,

I have been using Weewx for about 5 years. Thank you for all of the hard work that makes it great. I just upgraded Mariadb to version 12.0 which removed the storage_engine variable. As a result Weewx can no longer connect to the database. I know this will require modifying mysql.py but my python skills are a work in progress. Could anyone suggest how to modify it to remove Weewx from passing this variable when connecting? Thank you in advance.
