Are you sure the subsection [[FTP]] is correctly nested inside of [StdReport]?

Background, this is a free hosting account from 000webhost that I setup yesterday and I'm able to manually upload files to the site (FTP / Web Upload), but can't seem to get WeeWX to do it. The error I'm getting is:

"ftpgenerator: FTP upload not requested. Skipped.

Below are the details, in hopes that someone can shed some light.

Webhosting provider: 000webhost <I'm not tied to this, it was the first one in the search that met the requirements. I only use this so I can see the results outside of my local network>

My configuration files FTP section, weewx.conf: (username and password scrambled to prevent account lockouts)

I'm thinking that it has to be an issue in the weewx.conf file as I'm not getting any other errors other than, skipped. But just in case, here is a snippet of a manual upload:

Appreciate the response, as far as I know, I only modify the original "weewx.conf" so I would assume so. I had a problem posting last night, so I also emailed you directly, which included the actual username and password, in case it helps.

Here is the full output of the [StdReport] section:

Hi,

You might find using the wee_debug utility and posting its output may help as wee_debug will include a redacted copy of the weewx.conf actually used by weeWX in its output. This can be handy when there is some doubt over which weewx.conf (if there is deliberately or inadvertantly more than one copy on the system) is in use. Also, stopping and then starting weeWX and posting a log extract showing the entire weeWX startup pre-amble can be helpful as it should clearly show the path and name of the config file being used.

Chris,

One more thing, before you post the wee_debug output make sure you check it for any sensitive info eg passwords. Wee_debug does its best to obfuscate them but it's not perfect.

Gary,

First off, I want to say thank-you for your help.

I'm not sure what the exact problem was, but decided to re-write the entire FTP section again, using a backup copy and re-typing it. Now it's working. Not sure what the possible issue was as a compare between the two files shows them to be the same after typing it. Anyway. it's working as expected now.

Chris,

Good that it is working. Just wondering, after you first entered your FTP details in weewx.conf did you stop then start weeWX or do a config reload? If you didn't do either of these then weeWX would continue not FTPing (as per the original weewx.conf that did not have FTP credentials) and you would find yourself in the situation you described in your initial post. No matter, it's working now.
