Edit the Weewx.conf

Hello
I installed Weewx today and would also like to change the language German (DE). Unfortunately I cannot change the weewx.conf because it is writing -protected. I am the only user on the Raspberry Pi 3. So I should have all rights to edit the conig file!?!

Be sure to use "sudo". For example,

sudo nano /etc/weewx/weewx.conf

I am far from  an expert, but when I encountered this problem with my
adjusting, I used a command line chmod a+w or (777) for the directory.

Maybe that isn't a safe thing to do, but sure simplified the process as
I tweaked it.


I only suggest this until the experts can weigh in.  Dale
