Changing index.html

Hi All
I have just configured my RPi to connect to my VP2 and upload to my
webspace - Simple ish!!! However I had a gut feeling that something
wasn't quite right and when I looked at my website I realize that
Weewx had uploaded and overwritten my existing index.html!!!! Problem
easily solved by changing where the data is uploaded to and re-
uploading the correct index.html file.

Is it possible to change the Weewx "index.html" name to "weather.html"
for example. I couldn't see anything in the weewx.conf file so
presumably it's somewhere else.

Look in the skin configuration file, skins/Standard/skin.conf. It lists all the files that are generated. Just change the name of index.html.tmpl to whatever you want.

I am struggling a little!!!!!

I have changed the skins.conf in /Standard to this

 [[ToDate]]
        #
        # Reports that show statistics "to date", such as day-to-date,
        # week-to-date, month-to-date, etc.
        #
        [[[day]]]
        #Changed DE 29/4/13
        #template = index.html.tmpl
        template = weather.html.tmpl

but it still doesn't give me www.treworgans.co.uk/weather.html.
year.html etc work but as my website uses index.html as its home page
I do need to change it Am I doing the right thing??????? Do I need
to rename index.html.tmpl to weather.html.tmpl??
