Hi I am in the process of setting up a station using a WMR88 connected to a Raspberry Pi.

I am getting random N/A on the external sensors, most of the time it is fine but some times they show up N/A after next uppload to server they are fine again.

I do not have access to the raspberry at the moment so I cant provide logs but will have a look as soon as I get over there :) 40km drive.

Also just realized that on the index page it reports as an Oregon Scientific WMR100N not the 88 do i need to change WMR-USB to WMR88 or something in config?

Apart from above this has been the easiest and best of the different weather station software i have tried on the Raspberry.

THANKS For your great work!!!

Regrads H

Can't really help you on the random N/A's. Probably, weewx has not heard from the sensor between archive intervals, so it has nothing to report. Bad batteries? There may be some clues in the log --- it's worth taking a look --- but I doubt it.

The index page "WMR100N" is its best guess --- it's just a placeholder. You're welcome to edit the template for the page (index.html.tmpl) and put in whatever you want. Do not change WMR-USB to WMR88 --- if you do, weewx will be unable to find the driver.

Hi Granlord,

I do have exactly the same problem with Raspberry Pi and WMR88 setup.
Been trying a lot things to get it sorted but no luck so far.

Did you manage to get this problem sorted?

Regards,
N

Hi

Same Issue here - did you found a solutions?

I think sensors have no information to send the  WMR88 Station - e.g. No Rain, no Wind - no data - the result is a  "N/A"

a mess...

Hi,

I had the same problem with lots of N/A's on winddir/windspeed and/or temp readings, even if the WMR88 displays correct values.

I think the problem is related to the archive interval, because when I increased the interval from 60sec to 120sec the problem seemed to disappear!  Does this makes sense, anyone? Can this be related to the to the one minute interval WMR88 reading of its sensors?

I have previously used Cumulus with 60sec archive interval without any problem.

Regards Peder
