Hi again,

First I want to say that you guys are awesome.  I took this Thursday and Friday off from work and I figured I'd take care of this upgrade, which includes a move to a new system running CentOS 8.  It couldn't have gone more smoothly, even with switching from rpm-based install to setup.py.  You guys have done such a great job and it's a pleasure working with this program.

I'm seeing two weird things that I'm struggling to find an explanation for.

Since I'm still setting up, I'm running weewxd manually and I'm getting to see the loop packet output in the shell terminal.  In the packet I see a value for maxSolarRad, which is steadily increasing as the sun rises.  My Vantage Pro 2 does not have a solar radiation sensor.  Where is this coming from?

The second weird thing is that I'm seeing Heat Index values that are lower than the current temperature.  Is that possible?  Since I've been swapping back and forth between the 3.9.2 and 4.2.0 installs, I was able to capture this phenomenon in the images but I'm guessing they're being stripped out because my posts disappear, so you'll have to take my word for it that the red Heat Index line shows up below the temperature line :)

Curious to what the explanation is?

Thanks

Heat index: https://github.com/weewx/weewx/issues/601
There was a code change.

maxSolarRad is calculated based on the lat/lon and time of day. it provides a handy reference to compare an actual solar radiation reading (or a luminosity or UV reading, if you have those sensors).

Gotcha!  Thank you both!
