Hello,

after updating weewx I have some trouble with AWEKAS:

Pressure (station):
1,014.77 hPa --> ok

Pressure posted to AWEKAS:
1030.4 hPa --> not ok

Pressure posted to WU:
1,014.77 hPa --> ok

any ideas?

Hi,

As I understand it both WU and AWEKAS expect WeeWX field ‘barometer’ for pressure. Have you set debug = 2, restarted WeeWX and checked the log to see what data is actually being posted by WeeWX? Also, would help to know something about your setup, what station do you use and which WeeWX version did you upgrade from/to.

 Sorry, here is some more information:

Update 4.2.0 > 4.4.0 via .deb package.
Station: TFA Nexus (TE923)

Pressure in the debug:
slp: 1025

AWEKAS: 1040
WU: 1025

here the full debug of this record:

Mar  5 14:46:01 wetterstationv21 weewx[1249] DEBUG weewx.drivers.te923: get_record: found record {'t_in': 20.85, 't_in_state': 'ok', 'h_in': 51, 'h_in_state': 'ok', 't_1': 6.2, 't_1_state': 'ok', 'h_1': 39, 'h_1_state': 'ok', 't_2': 9.7, 't_2_state': 'ok', 'h_2': 35, 'h_2_state': 'ok', 't_3': None, 't_3_state': 'no_link', 'h_3': None, 'h_3_state': 'no_link', 't_4': None, 't_4_state': 'no_link', 'h_4': None, 'h_4_state': 'no_link', 't_5': None, 't_5_state': 'no_link', 'h_5': None, 'h_5_state': 'no_link', 'uv_state': 'no_link', 'uv': None, 'slp_state': 'ok', 'slp': 1025.0, 'storm': 0, 'forecast': 5, 'windchill_state': 'ok', 'windchill': 6.7, 'windgust': 9.0, 'windgust_state': 'ok', 'windspeed': 5.2, 'windspeed_state': 'ok', 'winddir_state': 'ok', 'winddir': 14, 'rain_state': 'ok', 'rain': 681, 'dateTime': 1614951780}

That's what's coming off the te923. It doesn't show pressure at all.

The question is what is being uploaded to AWEKAS? Set debug=2 and look for a line that includes "AWEKAS: url:"

Hello,
I'm an AWEKAS administrator. I can see that your AWEKAS account configuration has a barometric correction of 15.7 hPa. You should zero that out. Would you like me to do that for you? Or do you think you go it and you will change it yourself?

No problem, you're welcome!

That correction factor may have been set for you by another AWEKAS administrator because your station may have been sending station pressure before instead of sending corrected sea level pressure. Then now you go and do an upgrade of WeeWX and the software update may have changed to upload sea level pressure (the correct thing to do) instead of what it was doing before which was to send station pressure (the wrong thing).

Looks like you got it now. Looking good.

George
