Hi,

I just upgraded from 3.5 to 4 and it all went well.

I was just looking more carefully this morning and I now see seconds on all the places where it displays measurement since midnight or measurement this week. I don't think it did that before. The seconds are meaningless and appear to always be 00.

I know I can update each place I use $day.outTemp.maxtime to include a format string but I'm looking for an easier way. I don't see a way to do a global change so that I can set the format once and use it everywhere maxtime is used. Is there such a thing?

See the section [[TimeFormats]] in the Customizing Guide.

Yessir. I did and double checked there wasn't anything new in the docs since 4.0.

I have already set the TimeFormats in my skin

day = %-I:%M %p
week = %-I:%M %p (%A)

Yet it still shows
59.9°F at 12:06:00 AM
58.2°F 12:06:00 AM (Sunday)

Settings in skins get overridden by settings in weewx.conf. See the section How options work.

Thank you. That was the bit of info I needed. It must have been added to weewx.conf since I configured my site in version 3.5 several years ago.
