Hi,

A question from a noob here. I've been trying and searching but it seems like i'm missing something.

I have recently bought an Alecto WS-5500 connecting via wifi to an Asus RT-AC68U which is mirroring the data from the WS-5500 to a RPi 2 running the latest Raspbian where I installed WeeWX via the user guide -> Installing from DEB package and interceptor via the manual on GIT.

I see the data coming with tcpdump but it looks like there is a missing link from there to the interceptor. I have attached the log's I could find as well as a minute or so of tcpdump and the weewx.conf file.

Does anybosdy have an idea what I'm missing maybe?

Thanks a lot,

Roy

Is it posible a port problem, can you http://x.x.x.x to the alecto weatherstation?

Thank you,

Im not able to reach the Alecto this way, but as far i know a webserver is not provided, so that would be normal I think.

After looking further into the interceptor.py file I found there are specific settings dependent on whether you configure listen or sniff, this was not clear for me from the main readme (probably my reading comprehension in english). Once I understood this and tested buth listen and sniff I found with the correct settings that sniff is working correctly now. So I managed to resolve my problem.
