Weewx Messages going to Gmails Spam Folder

Many, but not all of my weewx-user group messages end up in the spam folder. Is anyone else seeing this behavior. If so, any recommended fixes?

I’m having the same issue.  Even marking them as Not Spam doesn’t help.  I have this problem with another google group as well.  Very frustrating.

Same here - quite irritating. Used to have it with FreeBSD cvs-commits as well, but that's stopped.

I've had similar problems. In the end I set up a filter within gmail to whitelist email with a subject beginning with '[weewx-user]' to prevent it being classified as spam.

It seems to have worked well and the filter hasn't leaked any real spam messages.

You didn't mention who is filtering spam for you and how.

There are basically two possibilities:
1) there's something wrong with the list
2) the spam filtering is wrong

I looked at the messages in this thread and a few later ones , and for
my spam filtering (spamassassin with customizations, run by me, set to
be very aggressive), they are all scoring ok. So while that doesn't
prove that (1) is not the issue, it argues for it pretty strongly.

So that leaves (2) and people will need to complain and/or adjust
filters.

Thanks for the suggestion - I completely forgot about setting up filters. I now have a filter setup to mark them as never spam.

gmail suddenly started marking [weewx-users] and [rtl_433] as spam since the quiet post-christmas period. I have just now whitelisted them in google mail by subject as recommended here - see what effect it has over next couple of days

Ironically I'm using Google's gmail and it's marking messages from Google Groups as spam. Go figure.

Right; why we do we have to create a filter for Google to not mark Google emails from going to spam?  LOL!
