Weatherflow Tempest vs. Sky/Air?

My current accurite station is getting very flaky on USB and I'm ready to replace.  Any thoughts about waiting for the Tempest vs. Purchasing the current Sky + Air system?  Don't care about the price difference, just concerned about accuracy and operation.  I am in the Southwest so having the Air in the shade might be worth it.   Also,  complaints about the rain sensor do seem somewhat related to the mounting of the Sky so whatever system, I plan a very rigid mounting system.
