WMR200 and OLD Data?

Hello,

I have my dad's old weather station and about 1 year ago it worked great for him, I kept it running and all was good, well this past week I have started to get it going at my house with the RP and station, so far I have the station up and running and reporting things just fine, when I re-configured the Raspberry Pi, I get this archive thing happening that will take months to 'catch' up if I let it run (below), is there a way to stop this or tell it to only go back so far?

I have 'purged' the system off the PI and reset the WMR a few times and I get this same thing.

So going back to 2007 would take a while :)...

I searched and didn't find an answer or at least i wasn't successful. I did see something about archive time but don't think that is it.

The station last reported on May 5th of last year, so not sure why it's even going back to 2007.

I am on version 4.5.1

Quick google found an old thread at https://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php?topic=52765.0 for how to clear it completely, but it's a very old thread so your mileage may vary.

I don't know why it would take months, but perhaps let it run and see how far it gets per hour ?

I think I read through that yesterday?, so it was getting late and I let it run over night and today.

It's now at 12-4-21 about noon time, so I guess it's getting closer faster than I thought, months was a joke, but assumed it would take a long time, also interesting is that for about 3 hours last night it reported and updated the website, then it stopped and reported once about 3am, then nothing since, it's now catching up, I will let it finish and report back here...

Another fun note, my dad loved weather stations and I have at least 2-3 others (not hookup able) stations small and large with tons of sensors, and trying to figure out what works and doesn't work with what station is quite the chore... I have resorted to putting one sensor on CH 3 and putting it in the fridge, then see what station it reports to... fun fun fun.

Ok just reviewed that link and I have NOT seen that, hmm would have been useful yesterday, but will let it complete now for the hell of it, but have copied that link and documented that in case I need it again, thanks for the quick search and post, I do appreciate it.!

Quick update.

The station has caught up and things are working as good as expected, I am getting outdoor temp sensor errors, but expected, sometimes it works, sometimes not. So all good. New batteries I think might fix it, or try to find a new sensor?
