cant syncronize ecowitt wh3900 with wifi

this is not weewx issue but ask here i wonder another menber had this issue.

i have this weather station 5 days.

i was follow the instructions from the manual , trying with three difrent smartphones with the app but the console never send the wifi network to syncronize.

trying aslo to setting my router with the manual depends but nothing so far.

i was aslo send email to ecowitt with the issue and i wait.

Is your WiFi network too new? The manual mentions only mode 802.11b only
so it wont connect to newer WiFi APs probably.

Note1: The Wi-Fi chip equipped on this console supports 802.11b mode
with 2.0 MHz CLK rate. Thus, some latest Wi-Fi routers or AP has to be
manually turned on 802.11b mode and even need to enable the latency mode to
host this device.

They only mention one router there, but could be more maybe? I only know
recent routers that can do 802.11g (which is still a few years younger)
in legacy mode.

Maybe a phone can do that still with the Hotspot function?

thank you for the answer. allready setting my router in this mode but nothing. tried with tree difrent smartphones , the icon ΒLE open in conlose but never see the hotspot in smartphones wifi network

Crazy, I had this once with a Netatmo station. It suddenly worked after many
times trying to connect - I never found out what the actual problem was.
