Has anyone already made a sensor for the snow depth to connect it to the RPi and display the data on Weewx?

I'm working on one now using an Ultrasonic Distance sensor - hopefully will have it up and running on my bench sometime this week. My goal is to get it mounted outside before our next forecast snow (Friday).
