Hi,

I have Weewx with MQTT now running since one year but recently I have a strange situation, or maybe I have just not recognized before:

I have set my USB Driver for the Weatherstation to 1 minute and also the Polling Intervall in Weewx to 1 minute.

I have configured weewx to publish the values to my own MQTT Brooker.

I can see every minute an update on the MQTT, but sometimes I see more values within a couple of seconds.
What is strange is that e.g. for the temperature the first value is 6.1, the second just 4 seconds later shows then 5.994234 and then again a couple of seconds later I see again 6.1

Any ideas?

Br,
Johannes

Hi,

I am one step ahead. It is, as already asumed, not the SKIN, but also not the WeeWX Installation.

I am running an OnPrem MQTT Brooker. But because I do not want to expose my Brooker to the World I am cloning the MQTT Message from WeeWX via NodeRed and forwarding them to ECLIPSE MQTT.

In the weewx.conf I am setting the mqtt attributes for the SKIN to Eclipse MQTT. I think this worked fine.

Now I have the following expericene: my internal MQTT Message is forwarded to Eclipse and eclipse is starting to reply back every 2 seconds alternating with the correct value und then with an incorrect value....
