Migration from wviewweather

I'm hoping someone(s) has experience in migrating from wviewweather (5.19.0) to weewx, and moving the database as well? I have 15 years of data that I would really like to preserve. The current host system lost one disk from the boot mirror, well over a year ago. No good excuse as to why its taken so long, mainly the question above?

Current system running CentOS6 (another issue), proposed host CentOS 8.8. Current db is just north of 220MB and is known to have some bad values.

Just sure if this is a well posed question, or if I have provided enough detail?

All help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks Vince, I had seen this in the past but has lost it in the interim.

I am curious as to those who have moved dbs, particularly 220+MB ones, and what their experiences were? Does it usually work, not work, tweaks are needed etc.?

Mine is 330MB+ and working fine.

The bad data values could be an issue. There is a utility, wee_database, that will hunt down string values in the database, then fix them. 

Version 5, in beta now, is much more robust against bad data values.
