connect to sdr and te923?

I'm new to weewx, but i would like to use my te923 staion for the barometer and the internal sensor and sdr for the external (because the reception is bad when the usb is connected)

is this possible with weewx?

You could run two instances of weewx, one with the sdr driver and one with the te923 driver.

Am i correct that in the config for the TE923 i need to set a sensormap so that the remote sensors (wind/rain/temp) don't get populated?
