Saratoga skin adding chart questions

I want to add some additional charts to the Sarasota skin.  I have created a new chart in the WEEWXtags/skin.conf file as follows:
[ImageGenerator]    

     [[day_images]]

         [[[daytemp2]]]

            [[[[extraTemp2]]]]
            # [[[[inTemp]]]]
            [[[[extraTemp4]]]]

this creates a daytemp2.png file my local folder, however it only updates when I run sudo weectl report run command in terminal.  How do I make it update at the same time as the other files (about every 5 minutes) and upload to my hosted website via ftp?

Also my png files are only uploading once a day even thou they are updating every 5 minutes, how do I get them to upload more often?

If you run "ls -al daytemp2.png" does it show the file is owned by root?

If so, run "chown weewx: daytemp2.png" or the user account that weewxd runs as.
