I'm running weewx 3.5.0 on a Raspberry Pi, connected to an Ambient Weather (rebadged Fine Offset) WS2095 weather station.  For some time now, precip hasn't been reporting to Weather Underground.  Thinking it might be something unique to wunderground (as I understand they're known to be a little flaky), I checked the page at PWSWeather too, and it's showing the same thing.  Compare

I'm in the middle of Tropical Storm Hermine today, and I assure you it's raining.

The logs, even with debug set, don't seem to say anything out of the ordinary:

What should I be looking at to try to track this down?

Starting at 0820 this morning, I'm seeing rain on your WU page. Did you reset the hardware or something? Is it working now?

Very strange.  I enabled debug in weewx.conf and restarted weewx at that time, but haven't done anything to any of the hardware.  I did not think to check again after I did that, but clearly that's made it work, at least for the time being.

Even so, neither wunderground nor PWSWeather exactly matches what my station is reporting for accumulation so far today (they're both showing 1.03 inches right now, while my station and my local web page are saying 1.15 inches), but they're at least close.

I'll continue to keep an eye on it.  I know I've restarted the software various times over the last several months, and I know I've had rain, but the last rain event shown by wunderground before today was 5 Jun, and the last before that on 27 Mar.  Thus, I don't think whatever the problem was is "fixed", but as it's working for now, it's going to be hard to troubleshoot.
