ET-value for display in Standard-skin

Now running WeeWX for some time.

At http://vannwnhzn.nl/WeeWX0/index.html with uploaded Standard skin.

In that Standard skin see ET always at 0-value, although certainly an actual value > 0.

In Customization Guide see ET available as calculated value.

Looked in the documentation and in the messages in this Group for info on the setting(s) to get ET-value to Standard skin-display, but not yet finding.
Must be simple, but apparently missed: Where? How?

Or is the answer in this message?
Meaning that ET as displayed is the calculated value, but always approx. 0.0 due to rounding?
In that perspective more useful to take ET_today of ET_last24hr with comparison against Rain_today respectively Rain_last24hr.

Yes. ET refers to the archive interval (typical 5 minutes). And ET for 5 minutes is a very very small amount. You need to sum it over a longer interval, for example a day. You can do that by the tag $day.ET.sum. Or you install the extension mentioned in that message.

Already applying that approach on my website for showing actual balance_today (from own calculations): vannwnhzn.nl/BalanceE_Info.txt

Now only need to tweak WeeWX's Standard skin to show similar values.
For that purpose the extension is useful.

Sidestep, but in that website also own calculation of absolute humidity: vannwnhzn.nl/AV1_Info.txt
IMHO the better & unambiguous info to judge water-contents of air for control of ventilation, irrigation etc.

Suggestion for change of values at Standard skin, for more meaningful ET-display.

Under 'Current Conditions':
Equivalent to RainRate (in mm/hr) replace ET (in mm) by ET/hour (in mm/hr).

Under 'Since Midnight':

Equivalent to Today's Rain replace Low ET by Today's ET

Equivalent to High Rain Rate) replace High ET by High ET/hour

That's the beautiful thing about customizable skins: you can tailor them to exactly what you want!
