Rebuild daily V3.8

Greetings good people.

It's 11 years since I installed Weewx as a total novice. It has run without problem until a severe thunderstorm (1000+ local strikes in 2 hours) took out everything. Weewx was still running but it looks a though the database has corrupted as no new data is being added.

How do I 'rebuild daily' using V3.8? I have been happy with that version so have not updated. Sorry for asking a simple question, I can't find the documentation that I downloaded 11 years ago!

Any thought or advice would be great, I am worried that 11 years of data has been lost.

Thank you for the reply. I decided to stop weewx and rename the old database followed by a restart with a new database, just to check that the SD card is good. I have at least established that Weewx still works so repairing the database should (I hope) get me up and running again. Before I do the rebuild, is there anything else I should try? To be honest, I am so impressed with the robustness of Weewx. 11 years without any problems, through events which took other systems down, the Raspberry Pi Model B and a Sandisk SD card just kept working. The only problem is that I have now forgotten almost everything I learned to set it up!!!
