Hi, I have weewx running but the altitude is wrong, 227 meters instead of 22 meters as the weewxconf shows, so where comes the wrong value from.? And I have to do an manual update in the web every 30 minutes, and the weewx.conf shows 300 min so is weewx reading from another .conf file. I have listed all .conf and cant find anything wrong. Tips from you who knows better then me who is 84 and newbee on phyton.

You did not say what hardware you are using, but for many types, WeeWX reads the altitude and archive interval from the weather station itself. In particular, it does this for the Davis Vantage series.

Tom - would https://www.weewx.com/docs/5.2/hardware/vantage/ help Jan figure out his device settings and set his station altitude if it's incorrect ?

Thank you, I am new on this and my Davies Vantage Vue is old but have been working on my computer with Wheater Display program for many years so I hav forgot the setup on the Davies station, I have now changed the altitude to 22 meters. But I have to update the website manually so is there another setup issue on the Davies Vantage Vue who to change. I have read the setup manual but there some thet I don't understand. I am very grateful for any tips.

If you delete all the web pages created by WeeWX they will be regenerated automatically at the next reporting cycle. No need to manually edit them.

To delete all web pages did not help, I tried several web readers and is all the same, the whew report I set on every 10 min and it works fine if I update the page manually. I am running whew on Raspberry Pi 4B with Debian Install and the Davies Vantage Vue is corrected to the right altitude but this issue remains. It is no problem to manually do the refresh to the web, but it is annoying. My brain is maybe to old (84) for this problem as I don't can't anything about photon. Thanks of trying to help me.

Do you mean that you need to refresh the web page in the browser? If so, that is normal behavior.

If you want the web page to refresh automatically, then you will need to include a meta tag in the templates instructing the browser to do so.

Or, there are browser extensions that can do this. For example, see https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/auto-refresh-page-monitor/nagebjgefhenmjbjhjmdifchbnbmjgpa

I'm not 84, but I'm deep into my 70s.

I'm 45 and I'd be glad if my brain could match yours...

btt: There are skins that refresh automatically using the defined archive_interval combined with checking if there is new data available. Just give it a try: https://github.com/brewster76/fuzzy-archer
