Dutch translations (Beta) for weewx-skyfield, weewx-celestial and weewx-loopdata — Dutch-speaking reviewer wanted

Hi all,

The three extensions now speak Dutch. The current releases — weewx-skyfield 1.15, weewx-celestial 7.5 and weewx-loopdata 6.6 — each ship a complete Dutch translation of their bundled page: prose, panel titles, body names, moon phases, compass points, and all 88 constellation names.

First, closing the loop on French: Jacques reviewed the French translations from top to bottom, and with this release they shed their Beta label. Merci, Jacques!

  

Dutch speaker wanted

  

The Dutch files are marked Beta for the same reason the German and French ones once were: they haven't yet been reviewed by a native speaker. Where WeeWX's own Dutch language file has already made a choice, the translations follow it (N/O/Z/W compass points, and keeping English terms like Transit where WeeWX's Dutch does) — but choices like that are exactly what deserves a native eye, along with the body names, the constellations, and every sentence on the three pages.

  

If Dutch is your language and you run (or are willing to try) any of these extensions, I'd love a review — reply here or open an issue on the repo. German took Christian one pass; French took Jacques the same.  The Beta label comes off as soon as someone signs off.

  

Turning it on

  

One line in weewx.conf:

        lang = nl

  

switches every skin that ships Dutch — WeeWX's own Seasons skin included — in one go.   Or set lang = nl on an individual report's stanza ([[SkyfieldReport]], [[CelestialReport]], [[LoopDataReport]]) to switch just that page. English reports render exactly as before.

  

Each release's notes include a full screenshot of its page rendered in Dutch, if you'd like a look before installing (weewx-skyfield 1.15 also brings a dark/light theme option for the Sky page).  One caveat on the celestial and loopdata screenshots: they were captured on my own station, so they're a hybrid — Dutch labels with my US units. A Dutch station's actual reports will of course be fully metric as well as fully Dutch.
