Hi,

I am trying to import some monthly log files from CumulusMX into Weewx. The log files have the format 202401log.txt and are not recognized by weectl import. What exactly is the format after which the import utility looks?

Using configuration file /etc/weewx/weewx.conf
Starting weectl import...
**** Unable to load source data.
**** No Cumulus monthly logs found in directory '/opt/CumulusMX/data'.
**** Nothing done, exiting

I am away from home at the moment so don't have access to all of my WeeWX environment, but I believe the Cumulus monthly log files are named using the format 'Mmmyylog.txt'; in your case that would be 'Jan24log.txt' not '202401log.txt'. weectl import will reject files not using this format.
