I did check the archives and searched for the topic. My apologies if I missed this. If so, and pointer would be great.

Trying to get weather data from my Davis Vantage Pro2 with cloud subscription into weewx on Rocky 9.6. I know in the past this was very difficult, no direct API so lots of hoops through which to jump. I see that Davis claims to have an API (v2) that now supports this. I did not find anything during my search that discusses this, or explains how to implement.

Hence I'm sending this note.

thanks for your time,

-eric

There are so many davis drivers that all look alike in the wiki.  I can’t tell them apart.

Looking at their api and response I wonder what would happen if you tried my ancient deprecated driver  (link) and changed the url for it in weewx.conf……

Try the test script after fixing the url to include your api key per Davis docs. If something is returned try it as a driver. Maybe it is something that a simple driver might be built from if nobody with a current driver replies.

Hey Vince,

Thanks for your reply! I'll keep this as a backup for now. I'm hoping to leverage the new v2 of the Davis WeatherLink API if possible, but may need to try your depreciated driver.

Thanks again,!!
