I'm trying to install weewx-4.0.0b7 but after the install, there is no index.html file in the /home/weewx/public_html directory.  Am I missing something in the build or the docs?

Thanks,

ted

Hi,

Hard to say anything without seeing the log. Restart WeeWX and let WeeWX run for a couple of archive periods then post an extract from the log showing the full WeeWX startup through the two archive periods.

Sorry for this, I wasn't patient enough to go through all the docs.  Found what I needed.  Sorry for the noise.

@ted can you share what you found?  I am seeing some weird issues with my wee_reports, and maybe what you found can help?

Well, I thought that I had found the problem, my issue turned out that my data logger memory was failing and that was the reason I wasn't getting an index.html file created, since there was no data to be posted.  I went back to the 3.9 train to figure out what was really happening, only to find that the data logger was causing the issue.  I have a new one on order so after that gets installed and 3.9 is working correctly, I'll do the upgrade again.
