Hello all,

I have recently installed the Belchertown (new) skin and I'd like the forecast (aeris) to be shown with the min/mac temperatures in degrees C. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Nick.

Perhaps look for 'Units' in skin.conf and see if that works.  Unknown if it will change your units throughout the whole skin however.  You'd have to try it out to see.

Look for forecast_units in skin.conf. It should be si if I remember right.

AI is swell.

In the WeeWX Belchertown skin, the forecast_units setting in skin.conf (or overridden in weewx.conf) determines the unit system used for the weather forecast data.
Here are the key details regarding forecast_units:
  • Options: The setting typically accepts us (Fahrenheit, mph) or si (Celsius, m/s or km/h).
  • Location: This setting is found within the [[Extras]] section of the [Belchertown] skin configuration.
  • Common Use Case: If you want the forecast to display in Celsius, set forecast_units = si.
  • Best Practice: It is recommended to add this configuration to weewx.conf to prevent it from being overwritten during skin upgrades.

Hello Vince, Karen, Gary,

Many thanks and that's exactly what I needed - especially good that it can be done on weewx.conf.

Thanks,
Nick.
