Question on 2nd anemometer and wind gust

Hey there, I have a 2nd anemometer which I'm getting data into the loop using mqtt. No issues here. The issue I'm running into is with the windgust for the 2nd anemometer. Seems that no matter what I try the archive is still averaging the data. Can someone nudge me to the right weewx5 way that I can have the windgust observations aggregate to max only on archive?
