I have installed newest version of RTLdavis (latest release 27-04-2020) together with weewx ver 5.1.0. I am chasing a difference at around 0.5 deg C between observation from RTLDavis driver and weewx/Vantage pro 2 driver. Weewx use target_unit = US so the temperature in the database is in Fahrenheit. Temperatures reveived in RTLDavis is in Fahrenheit but RTLDavis convert it to Celsius and then before it is saved in the DB again converted to Fahrenheit.
What is the background for converting to Celsius in RTLDavis?
Thanks Jesper

I think you're going to have to ask a clearer question with some data showing what you think you're seeing.

Quick read of rtl-davis seems to say that if you set debug=2 you'll see debug logs with the string "temp_raw" in it that might help.  Look around line 1180 of https://github.com/lheijst/weewx-rtldavis/blob/master/bin/user/rtldavis.py for the actual code there.
