In testing 4.9.1 rpms under fedora37 I noticed the rpm throws errors due to some of the old init.d os plumbing seemingly not there any more under the hood.
Is it time to go all systemd for packaged installs ?

i am working on it for inclusion in weewx 4.x. there will be a test for systemd - if systemd is installed, then a unit file will be installed, otherwise the sys5init file will be installed. although redhat and derivatives are all systemd, not all debian derivatives are systemd-only.
