Hello
I am Othmar Gattringer the owner of AWEKAS Weather Network.

Currently  its possible to send data to AWEKAS with a data file (awekas_wl.htm). The most comfortable and efficient method  for user is to use the AWEKAS API. But this will need to include it in the software. It is not really problematic. It's only a specific HTTP Get request for a specific server URL.
I have read in our forum (and also mine) some users have a problem to generate the data file. All this problems are gone with the api connect.
If your developer have time and if it is possible i think it wil be a big thing for weewx users.
If you need the specification of the api, please write a mail to me on ( mail [at] awekas.at ) i will send you the api specification and a software key to include it at our software. I can not add it here because the specification and the software key is not public.
Best Regards
 Othmar

folks,

here is a weewx restful service using the awekas HTTP GET api:

https://sourceforge.net/p/weewx/wiki/awekas/

it submits only the current weather information, not all of the min/max/average statistics in the awekas api2.

if you are running weewx 2.5, then use this:

https://sourceforge.net/p/weewx/wiki/awekas/

if you are running weewx 2.6, you must run from the code from the repository - awekas is not in the 2.6a3 release.
