April is Magazine Month. Here are some activities that happen during this month and some things Club presidents and members can do to celebrate Magazine Month.

•District assemblies take place in April and May. Incoming club leadership teams should further develop goals using the Planning Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs
•District membership seminars should be held immediately following district assemblies

Attend the district assembly with other incoming club officers in April or May.
Submit your Fund Development Club Goal Report form to your District Governor-elect by 1 May
Ask the PR chair to finalize the PR plan for the club, and identify key local media contacts.
Obtain contribution and recognition reports from current club leaders.

Plan club meetings and activities to observe Magazine Month in April.
Encourage club members to promote your Rotary regional magazine, The Rotarian, and RVM:Rotary Video Magazine.

Discuss how to use these resources for project ideas, to recruit new members, and to renew excitement about Rotary.
