exciting new Weed Manager API

Dear Calflora Weed Manager (WM) Community,

Exciting news: our Weed Manager read only API beta version is built and ready for testing! Request an API key to beta test the read-only API by sending an email to sp...@calflora.org with a subject line "API key."

This key functions like a password and allows you to access and read what your Calflora registrations allows. 

During our Weed Manager API-specific meeting this morning, we screen-shared what the API looks like emphasized and how important it is for Weed Manager members to try out this beta WM API.

After a month of your testing, our next Weed Manager API-specific meeting will be Thursday September 19 at 11am on zoom here:

During our general (not API-specific) WM meeting, we discussed 

- adding a separate tag or memo for members, 

- history stacks (automatically or manually generated), and 

- adding legacy data to Calflora: which agencies have done this, why, how is it helpful.
