Essay Prompt:

Islam is a very misunderstood faith, especially in regards to the topic of women. In fact, some Muslims are misinformed about women's topics, and they have trouble differentiating between culture and religion. What specific issue (ex:polygamy) do you think is highly misunderstood in regards to women and Islam, and what do you think are ways to address these misconceptions? Also, briefly discuss what you hope to gain from this class. 

(Elaborate your answers in an essay of 250 words)
