This holiday season, WeChangeLA is excited to partner with one of the community service organizations we've been most impressed by in the past year, the Mary Magdelene Project. The Mary Magdalene Project (“MMP”) gives those who have been victimized by street prostitution the opportunity to turn their lives around. Through an intensive and comprehensive program, the women face, cope with and then overcome the many obstacles that life has dealt them. Here is a way to help MMP as you shop for the holidays. MMP is enrolled in a giftcard-purchasing program where the purchase of each giftcard leads to a donation to the MMP, based on the giftcard amount. If you plan to purchase gift cards for any of the stores listed below this season, please consider ordering them through MMP. For each giftcard purchased, MMP receives a donation at no cost to you. To participate, you must use the MMP order form, which is attached to this email. Orders must be placed by 5 pm on the afternoon of Monday, December 14th. In order to ensure that purchasers receive their giftcards in time for the holiday season, the executive director of the Mary Magdalene Project will be placing the orders at the end of the day on Monday, December 14th. Completed order forms may be faxed to MMP, called in to MMP at 818-988-4970, or emailed to in...@wechangela.net (please leave enough time to get the order to MMP).
