Thanksgiving at the Valley Rescue Mission

Dear WeChangeLA Members,

WeChangeLA has been given the opportunity to help the Valley Rescue Mission provide over 1,000 turkey dinners to people in need on Thanksgiving day. The Valley Rescue Mission is a new organization that is currently located at the San Pablo Church in North Hollywood. (Check out www.thevalleyrescuemission.org for more information)

We'll be helping out with the two most important parts of the day, the set-up and clean-up. Please join us for set up from 9 - 10 am, and/or to help serve the last shift of diners and clean-up from 3 pm - 5 pm.

You can also help make the meal special by donating rolls, cranberry sauce, or desserts to be served with the turkey dinner. Food donations can be dropped off from 9 am to 12 pm at the church, or bring them with you if you're also volunteering.

We're grateful this Thanksgiving for the time we've been able to spend together this year helping our community, and for the passion and commitment to service that WeChangeLA members have shown. Please join us in giving thanks by spending some time helping out at the Valley Rescue Mission on Thanksgiving!
