WeChangeLA helps with Celebration Education

    As you know, WeChangeLA has pledged to have at least one event per month where we help an existing non-profit organization and get to know our community better. The August event is to help a project called Celebration of Education.  Sophia Berkley, the program's founder organizes throughout the year, collecting donated items and raising funds in order to hold an annual event where needy students are provided with back-to-school items and school supplies.   WeChangeLA has been asked to help with the event by registering guests and helping distribute the items to the attendees.  The event will be held at St. Agatha Catholic Church on August 22nd.  St. Agatha's is at 2646 Mansfield Avenue.  (We will be coordinating a carpool from the Valley.)

    Please sign-up below to participate at the celebration Education Gather on August 22, from 1-3:45. help these children return to school, well prepared to learn and participate.  Together WeChangeLA can help support this fantastic program and the students it serves.
