Phonebank for Health Care Reform- The Final Countdown

“I don’t know how passing health care will play politically, but I do know it’s the right thing to do! It’s right for our families, it’s right for our businesses, it’s right for the United States of America, and if you share that belief, I want you to stand with me and fight!” –President Obama.

House Democrats are scrambling to amass the votes necessary to pass the Senate version of the Health Reform Bill before the March 18th deadline announced by Robert Gibbs. Reuters reports that when asked if it was still possible to finish the bill by the start of the Easter recess, House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said: “That would be my hope."

We can do more than hope. We can take action.

Please join us this Sunday at the North Hollywood Park for a phonebank focused on the few remaining House Democrats who have not publicly stated that they will vote for the bill.

We want a commitment, we want a vote, we want reform.
