It's important to make your voice heard about a Health Care
Reform bill with a Public
Option, especially now. Please take a moment today to call your
Congressperson to urge them to vote for Health Care Reform with a
Public Option. The recent debate has become increasingly mean-spirited
and unproductive; let’s remind our representatives that we are better
than that. Your Congressperson needs to know that constituents want
Democrats to stand strong in the face of the threats and bullying.
Let them know you stand by them and do not want anything less than a
public option. Keep it personal and heartfelt. In other words, please
share why you are in favor of health care reform with a public
option. Also, please make sure the person who answers the phone takes
your name and address. Members of Congress depend on their staff to
report information about the day’s calls, so ask your friends and
family to make a quick call in support of the public option as well.
