WeChangeLA helps Get Out The Vote
Over two years ago, we all met and organized an unparalleled phone bank effort from the North Hollywood Park and our campaign offices in Van Nuys. Since then, we have built a reputation on getting things done, making phone calls and speaking directly to voters to let them know what's at stake and why their vote is so important. That's why WeChangeLA has been asked to help get out the vote for the midterm elections.
As you know, these midterms will determine whether President Obama has a Democratic majority behind him or if Congress will fall to the Republicans and oppose the President at every turn. We also have a gubernatorial race that will determine whether California will be at the forefront of progress or if our budget will continue to be balanced at the expense of the most needy. Democrats outnumber Republicans in California, but in elections we count votes not party registrations. That means we must make sure that folks get out to vote. So, from now until the election, we will be at the park, every Saturday, making the calls that make the difference. Will you join us?
