WeChangeLA's Big Sunday event May 1, 2010

Big Sunday's mission is to build community through community service. Sound familiar? It should; it is an integral part of how we strive to Change LA. So our partnership with Big Sunday comes naturally and we had such a wonderful experience last year we thought we should do it again.

This May 1st, WeChangeLA will be gardening, tree trimming, painting and more at the Mary Magdelene Project in Reseda. As many of you know, WeChangeLA has an ongoing relationship with this important, meaningful and life-changing organization. The Mary Magdalene Project focuses on empowering women who have been victimized by prostitution with the opportunity and tools to turn their lives around. To that end, they operate a Drop-in Center and a residence in the San Ferndando Valley.
